Session Title: Breaking Down Silos: Combining Marketing and Technical Content to Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience

Session Description: Content is king, and organizations are creating content in amounts that were unheard of just a few years ago. Marketing and Technical Publications teams often develop content in different tools and store content in separate content management systems, which makes it difficult to share content and deliver a unified and consistent customer experience. Gone are the days when you had the luxury of getting phone calls from confused customers. Today, consumers would much rather tap or swipe their way to your competitor. Join Dustin Vaughn, Solutions Consulting Manager at Adobe as he discusses how to integrate technical and marketing content.

Speaker Bio: Dustin Vaughn is a Solutions Consulting Manager at Adobe who manages a team of experts in Adobe's Technical Communication and eLearning products. Dustin has over 10 years of industry experience and has served as a panelist, speaker, and Adobe representative at various conferences. Dustin also worked as a solution designer and presenter for a cross-organizational and multi-product project designed for a key US Government client.

Session Title: PDF and HTML5 Make it Truly Omnichannel

Session Description: A number of surveys have emphasized the existence of various output formats like CHM, WebHelp, HTML5, PDF, EPUB etc. We often witness discussions on one format gaining traction over the others. In this session, let’s learn about various aspects of creating best in class HTML5 output from content that used to generate PDFs. We will be sharing best practices on splitting content into Topics, making it responsive and searchable, creating navigation and other miscellaneous items.

Speaker Bio: Abhishek Jain is Product Manager at Adobe Systems, India, where he manages the Technical Communication line of products (FrameMaker, RoboHelp and Technical Communication Suite). He is responsible for product strategy and roadmap, partner ecosystem management, and customer relationship. Prior to Adobe, he worked as a Product Manager managing an Enterprise suite of products.
